REASSESSMENT

Pursuant to IC 6-11-4-4, the process of Cyclical Reassessment has commenced. Every year, we are now required to review approximately 25% of the parcels in Elkhart County.

 

This is to ensure that the details of a parcel are looked at on an individualized basis, whereas before unless a review was prompted through a sale, appeal or permit; a parcel could go unchecked for years.
